1. Consultation and Records
Your first visit starts with an exam, photos, x-rays and a digital scan of your teeth. Dr. Gellerman reviews your goals and confirms whether InSmile Braces are the right fit for your bite. Our in-office technology lets us capture your records without messy impressions.
2. Smile Design
Using your digital records, your orthodontist and the InSmile Braces team create a custom treatment plan. That plan sets where each bracket goes and how each Smartwire® is shaped to move your teeth step by step.
3. Bonding
Your brackets are placed behind your teeth using a custom tray made from your scan, so each one lands exactly where the plan calls for. Your first Smartwire® is then engaged and treatment begins.
4. Progress Visits
You will come in for periodic checkups. At these visits, your Smartwire® is changed to the next wire in your sequence as your smile progresses. Dr. Gellerman sets the number and timing of your visits based on your plan.
5. Braces Off and Retainers
When your teeth reach their planned positions, your InSmile Braces are removed and you are fitted with a custom retainer to keep your new smile in place. Ask about our Retainer Loyalty Program.

What to Expect in the First Few Weeks
